RockIt Karaoke for Chromecast App Reviews

Love this app, but wish that after purchasing it, you could just connect to the TV instead of downloading and buying other apps.

Good. No cheesy Organ instrumentals i dont feel like Im listening to a guy at the nursing home play on his keyboard. I am able to hook my iPhone up to sing tricks easily and use this as my karaoke app. Nice size library with good tunes.

Ive been doing the whole Chromecast YouTube karaoke thing for a while now. This app basically streamlines the whole process for me and saves my playlist. Search function is awesome too. Only thing I wish it had was to turn your phone into a microphone too.

Keeps giving an error message saying YouTube is updating and your device is no longer supported. And I have an iPhone 5. Waste of time

Could be cool but dont know because it doesnt work.. You tube app works fine. But this app says my device isnt supported by you tube.?? Delete

This app looks very promising until you try to use it and run into the YouTube problem. Im using the YouTube app with no problems on this device, why havent the developers of this app come out with a fix? Hello!! Anyone home??!?

I downloaded it to check it out and see if I would be able to use it at home on my Chromecast for a karaoke night with friends. You must purchase the full version to get the ability to actually Chromecast more than the first few seconds of any songs. This would be worth it to me if your phone acted as the microphone and castes your voice through the TV speakers with the music the way that Yokee does with the Droid version. I would also like the ability to use the app without the app needing access to the camera to record me, and the ability to turn mic and camera access off and on and still play a track. Deleted it for now and wont be using or purchasing until those features are added. From the little I saw of it, UI and quality of music/lyric feed seems pretty decent.

You get a lot for just under $3 As far as the brand its really not that bad! It may not have background singers on some songs but the music seems worth it! The Graffics are great! . When you buy this app keep in mind to have good phone signal!. Good wifi!, no abstractions blocking wifi. I think its great for the price! As long as you follow the requirements. Im not sure if any is listed but follow the basics of wifi signal strength! This app is very usable!!!

This is an update on my review, after they made the changes, its now back to the app I love! Thanks Rockit! I love this app but until they update it, Im going to give them 2 stars. Please update it, I was planning to setup a karaoke system because of this app and because it works with chromecast and now its wasting space on my ipad because its not working! UPDATE! UPDATE! UPDATE!

I use this app to sing praise and worship songs and recording them. Very handy and the app is almost free. Thank you for developing this app!

Love this app, however I like finding the songs with the original vocals not just instrumentals. Also the playlist never generates so I cant save my favorite songs

I guess it is OK but just needs some work on how fast the songs, like the cup song goes really really fast not at its normal rate and say something Im giving up on you song it is really slow like when I was sing it and was going onto the next verse I had to wait 10 seconds till it went to the other verse.

I paid for extra because I could play on Apple TV... Doesnt work !!

I dont write many of these reviews but this app is a lot of fun. Comes installed with numerous karaoke hits and if they dont have one lets you search out the song on YouTube. Then will video you singing or record your voice of karaoke for upload to Facebook/YouTube. Free version limits song to 30 seconds, pay the $3 to unlock, totally worth it!
